Gantec scientists are actively developing a new paradigm for promoting plant health and stability. This paradigm begins with the premise that plants growing robustly under extreme conditions contain a unique complement of biomolecules that are responsible for much of its health and VIGOR. Gantec’s working hypothesis is that these biomolecules can be extracted, formulated and applied in such a way as to ‘share’ some of these biochemical features with less robust plants. Gantec’s research team is focused on the biochemistry of plant-based tissues. Its state-of-the-art research is conducted with leading growers to examine the impact of these materials on commercially cultivated ornamental and food crops.
