THE AFRICA STORY

The last place you would expect to find the next ground breaking innovation in 21st century agriculture is a dusty village on the edge of the Sahara desert in West Africa. Yet that is exactly where our team of scientists found themselves, looking at a beautiful tree that not only survived the harsh environment, but thrived! Ever since, our scientists have been innovating and improving process and technology to extract the rich, natural biochemistry from this tree.

Even as we continue to improve the technology, we have continued to build a network back in those same villages in Africa. Our supply network and sourcing takes place at the village level, providing the maximum benefit to the people. In addition to supplying our product, we are also looking to opportunities to work alongside the co-ops and farm groups to develop appropriate products for use there in West Africa. We have partnered with USAID to enact training programs and research local products, and we are already seeing local small business established in partnership with us.
